During my application process, I interviewed at 14 schools and was admitted to 4 top-25 medical schools. Due to my current schedule, I'm only accepting CARS students. I look forward to refining my study techniques to fit your learning style and maximize your scores. I self-studied for the MCAT, primarily over a 1-month winter break using review books, Khan Academy, Anki, and practice tests. I cannot wait to share my passion for these topics with you! I am more than comfortable in most STEM fields, but especially the following in which I received A's or A-'s: A&P I/II, Cell Biology, Evolution and Ecology, Microbiology, Genetics and Molecular Biology, Biochemistry Intro Chemistry I/II, and Physics I/II. My Bachelor's degree is in Biology and Spanish with a 3.93 GPA. I look forward to the opportunity to help you, wherever you are in your academic journey! Outside of school, I love going to the gym and spending time outside and with my dogs. Duke's unique curriculum allows me ample time to revive my passion and dedicate to tutoring and ensuring your success during my 3rd year. As an EMT, I spent thousands of hours training newly-certified colleagues and discovered my passion for teaching. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and have worked as a research assistant in basic and clinical science, EMT, and ED tech.
